I’ve always been fortunate enough to be surrounded by old cars and bikes. Years ago I quizzed my parents as to what their “throw-away” model of cars were. They responded with HQ’s, HK’s & XB’s, which got me thinking. What were my generation’s “throw-away” cars, simple VK’s, VL’s, XF’s & VH’s. With these cars becoming harder and harder to locate, I set out to find and purchase one for myself, one I was happy to never part with. After some time, I stumbled across the car I knew was the one, a 1970 HT Kingswood. Bench seat up front, 3 on the tree, 2 tone, white roof glamour. I Purchased it on the spot, sight unseen.
As it stands today, the Kingswood is in the ‘mock-up’ phase of the build, prior to panel and paint & trim.
Whilst the Kingswood patiently awaits its full restoration I get around in/on my ’78 HZ ute or 2011 Harley Davidson Softail Standard. They keep me in trouble!

About Me:
Cars and Bikes have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. It’s on been in the last few years have I really understood and appreciated how and where this passion has grown from. Some of my earliest memories are that of laying on the back parcel shelf of my parents Datson 240Z whilst we drive or riding around in a number of other family cars I would die to still have in our possession. I am lucky enough to say we still have one family car that has been with us now for over 30 years and dare say it won’t ever leave, My parents 1957 Austin Healey.
Growing up I was always the kid with the camera in my hand, Recording any hobby that passed through my life. Naturally, bikes and cars were never too far away from the front of my lens. It wasn’t till later on in life, I focused on still frame shots.
